After last year’s sucess there will be a bigger and betterLantern parade 4pm Saturday – and a magical display during our traditional carol singing at 4.30pm DONT’ MISS IT! (Watch out on facebook for ‘lantern making’ workshop dates)

Last years Christmas Fair was an amazing success, and this year is going to be even better. You can expect:

This year we have a great selection of over 50 seasonal Gift – Craft and Food Stalls, all selling local produce, crafts, and Christmas gifts galore. We have everything from homemade cakes, and puddings and seasonal food, to knitwear, Antiques, artwork and paintings, handmade chocolates, and teddy bears. And that’s just for starters.

Indoor: On both floors of the Market Hall on the Main Square, in the Beatrix Potter gallery and the old Sumittrecks shop

Outside:  In all the Squares, Streets and alleys there will more local produce and seasonal food stalls – all offering fantastic ideas for that last minute Christmas shopping.

Food: A huge choice of  street food available outside all the pubs along with Hog Roast, Indian and tasty pancakes

When it all gets too much! – Why not grab some of the great street food on offer and sample some of the local beers and ales on sale in all the pubs as part of the ‘Winter Beer Festival’

CASH – CASH – CASH! Whilst all the shops and pubs will take cards many stall holder do not and the demand for cask can outstrip our two cash machines, so please think about bringing some with you.
